Paperbag Albums
I love to use practical items in my scrapbooking/cardmaking and what better base then a paperbag!!! "Read More" to see instructions for a book I made for one of my sisters.
1. Take (4) paperbags and fold them in half. (see illustration A) 2. Place the paperbags into a “t” shape. You can do this two ways - have four open pockets put the ends together or 1, 2 or 3 pockets you choose your design. (see illustration B) 3. Sew a square through all the paperbags. (see illustration C) You can glue them together but I found that sewing holds the book together better. 4. Time to embellish. I glue patterned cardstock on each side and embellish. I also cut pieces of cardstock to go into the pockets. 5. I close the book by tying the book together with ribbon or fiber. You can also use Velcro to close the book as well.
